Hinch Distillery

The Hinch Distillery is a small batch, craft distillery located in County Down, Ireland. Founded in 2002, the distillery is known for its premium Irish whiskeys, made with locally sourced ingredients and traditional distilling methods.

The distillery’s flagship whiskey is the Hinch Single Malt, a triple distilled whiskey aged for a minimum of five years in American oak barrels. The whiskey is known for its smooth, mellow flavor with notes of honey, vanilla, and spice.

Hinch Distillery also produces a variety of other whiskeys, including a peated single malt, a sherry cask-finished single malt, and a gin. The distillery’s whiskeys have won numerous awards, including a gold medal at the World Spirits Competition in San Francisco.

Echlinville Distillery

Nestled amidst the rolling hills and picturesque landscapes of County Down lies Echlinville Distillery, a family-run establishment dedicated to crafting exceptional Irish whiskey, gin, and poitín, the traditional Irish moonshine.

The distillery’s roots can be traced back to the 18th century when the Echlin family first settled on the land. Over the years, they have farmed the land, growing their own barley, which is the essential ingredient in their spirits. Echlinville Distillery’s philosophy revolves around the ‘field to glass’ concept, ensuring complete control over the entire production process, from sowing the barley to bottling the spirits. Copeland Distillery

Nestled on the picturesque coast of Donaghadee lies the Copeland Distillery, a vibrant and innovative producer of award-winning Irish spirits. Founded in 2016 by Gareth Irvine, a young entrepreneur with a deep-rooted love for his homeland and its traditions, he ran a crowdfunding campaign that garnered immense support from local communities and whiskey enthusiasts worldwide.  Gareth’s vision began to take shape and in 2019, the Copeland Distillery opened its doors to the public, marking a significant milestone in the region’s distilling heritage.

The Copeland Distillery’s philosophy is deeply rooted in sustainability and local sourcing. The distillery utilizes locally sourced ingredients, including barley from neighboring farms and botanicals hand-foraged from the surrounding countryside. This commitment to local produce ensures that each spirit embodies the unique character and flavors of the region.
