Crumlin road Gaol
Our tour will include a visit to Crumlin Road Gaol, a working prison that dates back to 1845. The Belfast Gaol was closed in 1996, but renovations have turned it into an attraction that is a must-see for anyone visiting Belfast.

Stormont
Located in Stormont Castle are Northern Ireland’s Government offices and the offices of the First and Deputy First Ministers. In addition to serving as a meeting place for the Executive, it’s an outstanding architectural structure.
Built in 1830, architect Thomas Turner redesigned its exterior to the fashionable Scottish Baronial style in 1858, giving it the name ‘Stormont Castle’. However, by the late 1990s, the castle had been ravaged by age and was in poor condition.Though some features of the building have been lost in the process of renovation, most of the original classical splendor can still be seen in the majority of the state rooms.
Cathedral Quarter
With its cobblestone streets and warehouses, this historic merchant quarter has become a mecca for trendy bars, beer gardens, clubs, and restaurants. Visitors to the area can enjoy the Metropolitan Arts Centre (MAC), St Anne’s Cathedral, the Northern Ireland War Memorial, and Discover Ulster Scots Centre. The vibrant street art in this area of town gives this area a nightlife vibe, with live music and entertainment.
Known also as Belfast Cathedral, the Romanesque Cathedral Church of St. Anne has been a Christian place of worship for more than 100 years. Founded in 1899, the institution has grown throughout the years.
Its incredible stained glass windows, Rosamond Praeger’s carved stonework, Morris Harding’s mosaics, and Rosamond Praeger’s mosaic are all iconic. Take a moment to reflect in the peaceful space of Belfast Cathedral, and discover the symbolic meanings and stories woven into its fabric.
Falls Road & The Murals
As one of Belfast’s most famous areas, ‘The Falls’ gained worldwide media attention during ‘The Troubles’.
In August 1969, several streets off Falls Road were burnt out, killing six Catholics. During these years, tensions resulting from the civil rights movement forced the British Army to protect Catholics. Heavy-handed tactics by the British Army isolated many local residents.
As a result of the British sealing off The Falls, soldiers fought in ‘The Battle of the Falls’. Soldiers searched house to house for weapons for 36 hours. As a result of the use of tear gas, the curfew quickly deteriorated into rioting, with guns being brought into the streets and live fire being exchanged.
The Troubles overshadowed Northern Ireland for the next 30 years after this event. 1994 President Bill Clinton visited Northern Ireland to seal The Good Friday Agreement.
In ‘The Falls’, you can see street art called The Belfast Murals. Our tour will showcase many of the works that convey a republican message from the past to the present.
