Day 1 - The Western Highlands
After leaving Edinburgh we head west along the Royal Route to our first stop at Stirling Castle. From Stirling we enter Scotland’s first National Park as we visit the heritage village of Luss with stunning views. The journey north takes us along the bonnie banks of Loch Lomond, stopping at the Falls of Falloch. After lunch at an iconic Inn we pass Crianlarich before reaching the west coast in the late afternoon and Oban, the seafood capital of Scotland.

Day 2 - The Road to the Isles
After a hearty breakfast we travel along the great Glen to Fort William, stopping at Glencoe and Neptune's Staircase at Banavie. At Glenfinnan we'll visit the Lone Highlander monument and learn about the historic events that took place here. If we're lucky the twice-daily steam train will pass the Glenfinnan Viaduct just up the valley.
From the fishing port of Mallaig we board the ferry "Over the Sea to Skye". Passing the famous Cuillin Mountains and Broadford we'll arrive into the main town on the Island at Portree.
In the early evening we'll take a wildlife spotting cruise out into the Sound of Rassay to spot Dolphins, Whales, Seals, Basking Sharks and birdlife including Puffins, Guillemots, Razorbills and Gannets.

Day 3 - The Isle of Skye
Today is a magical day, exploring Skye. Heading north to the Trotternish Peninsula onSkye. We pass The Old Man of Storr and visit The Kilt Rock Falls before continuing on to the northernmost tip of the island. On a clear day you can see over the Sea of The Hebrides to Lewis and Harris on the horizon. We visit ancient island croft houses near Uig.
After lunch we return to the mainland and visit historic Eilean Donan Castle, sitting where three lochs meet. Later, we head for the Five Sisters of Kintail before travelling through beautiful Glenshiel to the village of Fort Augustus on the shores of Loch Ness.

Day 4 - Perthshire & Whisky
We first visit The Commando Memorial which affords stunning views to the tallest mountain in the Uk; Ben Nevis. Then we track along the coast of Loch Laggan into the Cairngorms National Park. Towering mountain ranges and Caledonian Pine Forest offer a landscape like no other as we descend into the Victorian town of Pitlochry.
Leaving Pitlochry, we call in to Lindores Abbey Distillery for a tour of the whisky making process and a celebratory dram or two before heading back to Edinburgh passing over the Forth Bridges past the famous Forth Rail Bridge and into Edinburgh to end the trip.
