Aberlour Distillery in the heart of Speyside is renowned for its exceptional single malt whiskies. Founded in 1879 by James Fleming, the distillery draws its name from the confluence of the Gaelic word ‘Aber’ (meaning meeting of two rivers) and Lour Burn and the River Spey.

Aberlour’s whiskies are characterised by their rich, fruity notes, often with prominent aromas of ripe orchard fruits, honey, and spice. This flavour profile is attributed to the use of locally sourced barley, the pure water from the St. Drostan’s Well, and the traditional pot still distillation process. The distillery’s commitment to quality is evident in its use of predominantly Oloroso sherry casks for maturation, imparting the whisky with its signature complexity and depth.

Aberlour offers a range of expressions, including the popular 12, 16, and 18-year-old bottlings, as well as limited editions and cask-strength releases.
