Edradour Distillery, nestled in the heart of Perthshire, holds the distinction of being Scotland’s smallest traditional distillery. Established in 1825, it’s a charming, almost fairytale-like site, a throwback to a bygone era of whisky production.

Originally a collective of local farmers, Edradour has changed hands several times over the centuries, even spending some time under the ownership of an associate of the New York Mafia! Since 2002, it’s been proudly owned by Signatory Vintage, an independent bottler, who have breathed new life into this historic distillery.

Edradour produces a diverse range of Highland single malt whiskies, known for their rich, complex character. Their core range features a 10-year-old, matured in sherry and bourbon casks, and a 12-year-old Caledonia, aged in sherry butts. They also produce a heavily peated whisky called Ballechin, named after a nearby lost distillery.

Despite its small size, Edradour is a significant name in the whisky world, in large part due to its rareness.
