I am a proud Scot and love showing people around the best wee country in the world! When I first moved to Edinburgh from the country near Stirling to work for a pension fund manager. In 2008 I realised that the corporate life wasn’t for me and I set out on a career in tourism showing people the almost infinite combinations of places to see in Scotland!

Every day is different on tour and I love meeting people from around the world, sharing my experience and knowledge of Scotland past and present.

My favourite place in Scotland is Stirling Castle. It is a fascinating insight in Scotland’s monarchy and how they shaped Scotland in the 16th century into the modern country we are proud to call home. It also has amazing views!

Originating from South Queensferry with its famous Bridges (aka The Ferry) I love showing my guests some of Scotland’s great sights and famous landmarks but equally I love getting off the beaten path and showing some of our quirky and weird history! Even in a short space of time getting to know visitors from around the world gives me an enormous sense of job satisfaction!

Hi I’m Hazel and I’m from Edinburgh. I love guiding around Scotland on day tours from Edinburgh. When I am not on tour I am at home with my family including two teenagers! I’ve guided for 8 years although the pandemic put a stop to that. The opportunity to come into the team at Experienced has got me back in the saddle doing something I love again!

My favourite place to visit has to be East Lothian and its mighty fortress at Tantallon Castle!
